Alright, so I’ve been grinding away at this game called Apex Legends, and let me tell you, the Winter’s Haunt Event is something else. It kicked off on December 7th, and apparently, it’s going until the 21st, so not a ton of time left. I jumped in as soon as I could.
First off, there’s this limited-time mode called Winter Express. It’s back, which is awesome because I heard it was the best LTM ever, but I missed it last time it was around. So, naturally, I had to give it a go this year. Honestly, it’s pretty wild. You’re on this train, and it’s just non-stop action. I spent a good few hours just playing this mode, trying out different legends and seeing what worked best. It’s a real adrenaline rush.
Then there are the cosmetics. Oh boy, the cosmetics. They’ve added like 30 new ones, all winter-themed. I’m a sucker for this stuff. I’ve been trying to unlock as many as I can. Some of them look really cool, and I want to collect everything.
- There are these daily challenges, right? You do them, and you get these things called Ice Gems. I’ve been religiously doing these every day. I managed to grab a few skins and weapon charms so far. It’s a bit of a grind, but hey, it’s worth it, at least for me.
- I heard that some guys say they want this event to come back every year, I think it’s fair enough. The last time I missed it, this time I can’t miss it, I played a lot of games for it.
- I’ve been playing on my PlayStation 5, by the way. The game runs like a dream on it. Smooth as butter. I know some folks play on PC or Xbox, or even the Nintendo Switch, but for me, PS5 is where it’s at.
So yeah, that’s been my experience with the Winter Express and the whole Winter’s Haunt Event in Apex Legends. I’ve been having a blast. Time is ticking. I need to get back and grind out some more of those Ice Gems. I’ve got my eye on this one skin… I gotta have it!
