Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called AlphaConsole for Rocket League, and let me tell you, it’s pretty cool if you’re into customizing your car.
First, I had to get this other program called BakkesMod. Think of it like a toolbox that lets you do extra stuff in the game. You need this to use AlphaConsole.

After I installed BakkesMod, it was time to get AlphaConsole. It’s basically a plugin for BakkesMod, like an add-on. Once I had that set up, I opened up BakkesMod’s console which is kind of like a command prompt, I guess. I typed in some command, “acplugin_texturedeveloper_enabled 1”, I remember.
Then, I went into the BakkesMod menu, found the “Plugins” tab, and there it was: AlphaConsole Plugin. I clicked on that, and then in the AlphaConsole menu, I found the “Cosmetic” tab.
This is where the fun starts. I could change the look of my car with all sorts of stuff that’s not normally in the game. I’m talking about different bodies, wheels, decals and even like, adding extra bits to your car. You’ll be shocked at how many options there are!
Here’s what I did:
- Body: I started by picking a different body for my car. There were so many to choose from!
- Wheels: Next, I swapped out the wheels for something fancier.
- Boost: You can even change the look of your boost trail, I made mine all sparkly.
- Decals: I played around with different decals. It really changes the whole vibe of the car.
And let me tell ya, I have spent way too much time just messing around with different combinations. It’s pretty addictive. If you’re into making your Rocket League car look unique, you should definitely check out AlphaConsole. It’s a bit of a process to set up, but trust me, it’s worth it! This whole thing is way cooler than I thought it would be.
