Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this new set, Phyrexia: All Will Be One, and man, it’s been a wild ride. I mean, I’ve been cracking packs like crazy, trying to get my hands on some of these cards. This set has 271 cards, you know, so there’s a lot to go through.
First off, I started by just ripping open packs. You know that feeling? Like a kid on Christmas morning. I was hunting for those high-end mythics, especially Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. I mean, come on, that card is insane! In the lore, she’s one of those Phyrexian Praetors, and they just look badass. This one, in particular, I pulled a couple of versions of her, and I was so stoked.

Then, I moved on to sorting through the commons and uncommons. There are like 101 commons and 80 uncommons, it’s a lot! I found some interesting ones, but nothing beats the feeling of pulling a rare or a mythic rare. Out of the 60 rares, I got a few cool ones, but the real prize was getting some of the 20 mythic rares.
After that, I started actually playing with the cards. I built a few decks, tried some different strategies. Some cards, like Vraska, Betrayal’s Sting, that I initially overlooked turned out to be pretty awesome in action. I used her in a deck and she was a total game-changer. Also, Skrelv, Defector Mite, it was also much better than I expected, and the synergy with my deck is surprisingly good.
I also spent some time trading with my buddies. Everyone’s chasing different cards, so it’s fun to see what everyone else is excited about. It’s like a little economy, you know? Some cards are like, super expensive, like that Elesh Norn card, which is going for $40 at least, some other versions even reach $300. That’s just crazy.
Here’s the breakdown of what I did:
- Opened a ton of packs – Just kept ripping them open, hoping for the best.
- Sorted through the cards – Separated the commons, uncommons, rares, and mythics.
- Built some decks – Experimented with different card combinations.
- Played a bunch of games – Tested out the decks, saw what worked and what didn’t.
- Traded with friends – Swapped cards to try and get the ones I really wanted.
So yeah, that’s been my experience with the Phyrexia: All Will Be One set so far. It’s been a blast. Still chasing a few more cards, but that’s part of the fun, right?
