Man, Set 10 of TFT, “Remix Rumble,” is something else. I finally decided to jump in and see what all the fuss was about.
First off, I started by messing around with different team comps. You know, just throwing stuff together and seeing what sticks. I read somewhere that Punk Jinx was a good comp to start with, so I figured, why not? I went and got myself a Jinx, slapped a Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Last Whisper on her, and focused on getting her to 3-star. It was rough at first, man. I lost a bunch of rounds early on trying to save gold and level up.

- Get Jinx to 3-star.
- Equip her with Guinsoo’s Rageblade.
- Add a Last Whisper for good measure.
Then I started playing around with those Headliners. Man, those things are wild! One game, I got a Headliner Kaisa, and she was an absolute monster. Another game, I had a Headliner Zed, and he was just slicing through everyone. It felt really powerful to have them on my team, and I managed to win a few games here and there.
I also tried out that EDM comp. Found out you use that “selector” item on one of them, and the others copy the selected unit’s ability. I picked Lux, and it was like a laser light show! Every few seconds, those other EDM units were blasting away with Lux’s ability. It was pretty cool to watch, but it didn’t feel as powerful as it was supposed to be. I won some but lost most of my matches. Maybe I was playing it wrong. Who knows.
Experimenting with Items
Afterward, I spent some time figuring out the items. Man, there are so many of them! I started with the basics, like Spear of Shojin and Guinsoo’s Rageblade. Those seemed to work pretty well on most carries. I found a tier list somewhere that mentioned those two as some of the best items, and they definitely felt strong.
And lastly, I started paying attention to those augments. I grabbed an “All That Shimmers” one time, and it was raining gold! Another time, I had “Academy Crest,” which made my units feel way stronger. I heard people talking about “Bronze For Life I” being one of the best augments, but I haven’t tried it. I usually just pick whatever looks fun or fits my team comp at the moment.
Overall, I’m still trying to get the hang of it. I win some, I lose some, but it’s definitely been a fun ride so far. I heard some people saying that this Set is a huge overhaul to TFT, and I can see why. There’s just so much to learn and experiment with!
