Alright, so I’ve been playing a ton of Pokemon Go lately, and I’ve really been trying to up my game in battles. One Pokemon I’ve been focusing on is Magnezone. It’s a pretty cool Electric and Steel type, and I wanted to figure out the best moveset for it.
So, first, I caught a bunch of Magnemites. I walked around, like, a lot. I hit up all the usual spots where Electric types like to hang out. You know, places with a lot of electronics and stuff. After catching a good number of them, I evolved a couple into Magnetons, and finally, I got my Magnezones.

Now, the real work started. I started battling in gyms to see what moves seemed to work best. I tried a few different combinations. I did some digging around to see what other trainers recommended.
From what I gathered, it looked like Spark and Wild Charge were the way to go for offense. It has the highest total DPS (that’s Damage Per Second for all you noobs) and it’s great for PVP battles. So, I started using that combo. I used TMs to get those moves on my Magnezone, which took a few tries but was totally worth it.
And let me tell you, this thing is a beast now! I’m taking down gyms like crazy and even winning more in the Go Battle League. Using Magnezone with Spark and Wild Charge, it just melts through opponents. Especially those Water and Flying types, they don’t stand a chance.
But it’s not all smooth sailing. I also had to figure out who the tough matchups were. I noticed that Ground types, especially those big ones like Primal Groudon, Shadow Groudon, and Mega Garchomp, were giving my Magnezone a hard time. I mean, those guys can take a hit and dish out serious damage. So, I learned to avoid those matchups when possible.
- Catch a bunch of Magnemites.
- Evolve them into Magneton, then Magnezone.
- Use TMs to get Spark and Wild Charge.
- Battle in gyms to test it out.
- Avoid strong Ground-type Pokemon.
After all that experimenting, I feel pretty confident that Spark and Wild Charge are the best moves for Magnezone. It turns it into a real powerhouse in battles. If you’re looking to up your Pokemon Go game, give Magnezone with this moveset a try. You won’t be disappointed. But be careful with those Ground types, they’ll crush you!
This is just my experience, though. You might find other combinations that work for you. That’s the fun of Pokemon Go, right? Gotta catch ’em all, and gotta experiment to find what works best!
