Okay, so I’ve been playing Valorant for a while now, and like everyone else, I’m always hyped for the next big update. The current act is getting a bit stale, and I really want to see what Riot Games has in store for us next. So, I started my quest to figure out the release date for the next Valorant act.
First, I checked the in-game battle pass timer, ’cause that’s usually a good indicator. Turns out, it suggests that the release is gonna be on Wednesday, October 23rd. Seems like they are sticking to the usual schedule, which I dig.

Then, I dug a little deeper online. I found some articles talking about a new agent named Tejo. Apparently, this dude’s gonna be an initiator from Colombia, and he’s got some unique skills to flush out enemies. Sounds pretty cool, right? One article even mentioned that Tejo will be officially added to the game on January 8, 2025. However, other source said the Episode 10 Act 1 will launch on January 7, 2025. That is a little bit confusing.
There’s also talk about a new map rotation. Riot Games usually shakes things up with the maps, and it looks like they’re gonna do it again. They promised to give us updates on that per act.
My Conclusion
- New Act Release: Probably October 23, based on the battle pass timer.
- New Agent Tejo: Some resources said he will be added on January 8, 2025. And others said Episode 10 Act 1 will launch on January 7, 2025.
- Map Rotation: Definitely happening, but we’ll have to wait for more details.
So, yeah, that’s what I’ve found out so far. I’m pretty stoked for the new act, especially to try out Tejo. It’s gonna be interesting to see how he changes the game. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for any more info and update you guys if I find anything juicy.
