Okay, so, about these “All Phyrexia” cards, I’ve been messing around with them for a while now. It all started when I saw someone talking about this new Magic: The Gathering set online. I’m not a hardcore player or anything, but it sounded cool, so I decided to check it out.
First, I just wanted to see what cards were in this set, “Phyrexia: All Will Be One,” they call it. So I went online and looked for a list. Apparently, there are like 271 cards total, but the number of masterpiece cards, mythic cards, and rare cards is different. And I also found different versions of these cards are sold at different prices, ranging from $30 to $300. Also, I found that some cards are more popular with collectors like #1, #69, #420, and #500. Turns out, there’s a bunch of different types: commons, uncommons, rares, mythic rares, and some basic lands. I didn’t even know there were that many types!

Then, I found out that they were selling these things called “Prerelease Packs.” Inside, you get six booster packs, some special foil card, a code for some online game, a deck box, and a life counter. I thought, “Why not?” and bought one of those. It was pretty fun opening all the packs and seeing what I got. I got some really cool-looking cards, but I wasn’t sure how good they were in the actual game. Also, the price of the card is related to its number.
So, I started looking up strategies and guides for playing with these cards. There are all these terms, like “draft guide,” “color tier list,” and “set mechanics.” It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I started to get the hang of it. I learned that certain colors and card combinations are stronger than others.
I started playing some games with my friends, trying out different decks and strategies. We had a blast! Some games I won, some I lost, but it was always exciting to see what cards would come up and how we could use them.
One card that really stood out to me was this “Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines.” I learned she is one of the Phyrexian Praetors, and she has some updated versions recently. It’s super powerful, and it felt awesome whenever I could play it. The price ranges from $40 to $300!
Anyways, I’m still learning a lot about these Phyrexia cards, but it’s been a really fun experience so far. It’s like a whole new world opened up to me. If you’re looking for a new hobby or just want to try something different, I’d definitely recommend checking out Magic: The Gathering and this Phyrexia set. Who knows, maybe you’ll become a Phyrexian Praetor master!
