Okay, so today I decided to try and snag some of those Call of Duty League viewership rewards. I’ve heard about them for a while, and I finally had some free time to figure it all out. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, but I got it done.
First, I needed to find out where these matches were even being streamed. Turns out, it’s mainly on YouTube, and sometimes they use Twitch. I don’t really use Twitch, so I stuck with YouTube.

Next up, I had to make sure my accounts were linked. There is some account called “Activision account” which is used to link these platforms. It’s a bit of a pain, but I found the instructions on one of the help pages, and it wasn’t too bad. I logged into my Activision account, then connected it to my YouTube account. Just a few clicks and some confirmations, and I was good to go.
Once that was sorted, I had to find the actual live stream. I went to the official Call of Duty League channel on YouTube, and sure enough, they had a live match going on. I started watching, and honestly, it was pretty entertaining. I’m not the biggest esports guy, but the gameplay was intense.
The tricky part was figuring out how long I needed to watch to get the rewards. Some people online said different things, like an hour here, two hours there. There are some requirements for watch time each of the four days. But first. I just decided to keep the stream open in the background while I did some other stuff around the house.
After a couple of hours, I checked back, and bam! I got a notification that I had unlocked some rewards. It was a cool feeling, like I actually got something for just chilling and watching some games. In my memory, the rewards were mainly some in-game items, like weapon camos and calling cards. Nothing too crazy, but still a nice bonus.
Here’s the breakdown of what I did:
- Found out the matches are streamed on YouTube.
- Linked my Activision account to my YouTube account.
- Found and watched the live stream on the Call of Duty League YouTube channel.
- Watched for a couple of hours.
- Got the rewards!
All in all, it was a pretty chill way to spend an afternoon. I got some cool in-game stuff, and I might even start watching these matches more often. If you’re a Call of Duty fan and you have some time to kill, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. Just be prepared to do a little bit of setup with the account linking.
So yeah, that was my little adventure today with the CDL viewership rewards. I hope it helped some of you!
