Okay, so, I’ve been grinding through Valorant lately, specifically Episode 9, Act 3. And let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride, but it’s finally wrapping up. I started playing a few days after the Act kicked off, which was around October 23. Just jumped right into it, you know?
At first, I was just messing around, trying to get a feel for the new stuff they added. I spent hours checking out the new content, reading up on what was changed in patch 9.08. I played a bunch of matches, experimented with different agents, and tried to figure out the best strategies on the maps that were in rotation. Honestly, it took me a while to get the hang of it.

What did I do?
- Tried a lot of new content in game, that was cool.
- Spent much time on reading the information of the new patch.
- Joined many matches.
Then, as the Act was drawing to a close, I started focusing on my rank. I played a lot of competitive matches, and let me tell you, some of them were intense. I had some great wins and some tough losses, but I kept pushing. In the end, I managed to hit my peak rank, and I’m pretty stoked about that. I kept track of my progress, and it was cool to see my Act Rank badge on my player card. That badge felt like a real accomplishment.
When did the new Episode start?
From what I gathered, the new Episode, Episode 10 Act 1, is supposed to start around January 8, 2025. So, I had a bit of a break to look forward to. But now that the Act is over, I’m already thinking about what’s next. I’m excited to see what new maps, agents, and challenges the next Episode will bring. I think I learned something from the official site, but I am not very sure.
I played my placement match to get my rank back. It felt a little different this time since it was the end of an Episode, but it wasn’t too bad. I’m ready to jump back in and see how I stack up against the competition in the new Episode. It’s gonna be a fresh start, and I’m here for it. I guess I need to prepare for it.
Anyway, that’s my story of grinding through Valorant Episode 9, Act 3. It was a blast, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next one. Maybe I will try harder next time. Wish me luck!
