Alright guys, so I dived into the Pokemon GO Fashion Week Timed Research, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. Here’s how it all went down for me.
First off, I opened up the app and saw the Fashion Week event was live. Cool, right? Then I spotted the Timed Research tasks, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s do this.”

Getting Started
I started by looking at the tasks. The first one was something like “Catch 5 Pokemon”. Easy peasy. I walked around my neighborhood and quickly knocked that one out. The reward? An encounter with a costumed Pokemon! I got a Diglett with a cute little hat.
Next Steps
The next set of tasks were a bit more involved:
- “Take a snapshot of your buddy” – Okay, no problem. I snapped a quick pic of my Pikachu, and done.
- “Make 5 Great Throws” – This one took a bit longer. My throws aren’t always the best, you know? But after a few tries, I got those Great Throws and moved on.
- “Transfer 3 Pokemon” – I had a bunch of extra Pokemon just sitting there, so I transferred them out. Another task down!
Each of these tasks gave me some rewards, like Stardust and more encounters. I caught a fashionable Croagunk and a stylish Blitzle. Pretty neat.
Getting Tougher
As I progressed, the tasks got a little tougher. One of them was “Use 10 berries to help catch Pokemon”. I had a stash of berries, so I started using them on every Pokemon I saw. It felt like it took forever, but I eventually finished it. The reward was a fashionable Shinx, which was pretty awesome.
Almost There
I kept at it, completing tasks like “Earn 3 candies walking with your buddy” and “Hatch an Egg”. The walking one was easy since I walk a lot anyway. Hatching the Egg took some time, but I just put one in an incubator and went about my day. Eventually, it hatched, and I got a bunch of XP for it.
The Final Stretch
The last few tasks were a mix of things I’d already done, like catching more Pokemon and making more Great Throws. By this point, I was getting pretty good at those throws, if I do say so myself. I also had to “Power up Pokemon 5 times”, which was simple enough since I had plenty of Stardust.
Completion
Finally, I completed all the tasks! The final reward was an encounter with a special costumed Pokemon – a Dragonite with a bow tie! It looked so fancy, I couldn’t help but smile. Plus, I got a ton of XP and some items.
So, that’s my story of tackling the Pokemon GO Fashion Week Timed Research. It was a fun little adventure, and I ended up with some cool costumed Pokemon. If you’re playing, I hope my walkthrough helps you out. Happy hunting!
