Okay, so I’ve been grinding it out in Warzone 3 lately, trying to figure out what’s what with the guns. And let me tell you, the marksman rifles? They’re a whole different beast. I started out just messing around, you know, trying to get a feel for the game. I jumped into a few matches, tried a bunch of different weapons, and quickly realized that if I wanted to actually take down some enemies, I needed to get serious about my loadout.
I spent some time, checking out different tier lists online, trying to see which marksman rifles were actually worth using. I found a bunch of people talking about Season 6’s Ranked Play, and which guns were meta. It was a bit overwhelming at first, with all the pros and cons, and stats, and whatnot.

But here’s the thing, I started testing them out myself. I started with the MCW 6.8.
- I equipped it and immediately noticed it felt pretty good, especially in those closer to medium-range fights.
- It felt reliable.
- I was able to hit my shots more consistently.
- And recoil wasn’t a huge issue, it did not jump all over the place.
Then I switched to the DM56.
- I tried a few matches.
- It didn’t feel as good as the MCW 6.8 to me.
- But some players swear by it.
- Maybe just not my cup of tea.
After that, I gave the Kar98k a shot.
- Now this one, this one felt different.
- It’s a classic for a reason.
- It packed a serious punch.
- But you gotta be accurate, or you’re gonna have a bad time.
I kept experimenting, tweaking my attachments, trying different scopes and grips. I played a ton of Resurgence mode to really get a good feel for how these guns performed in different situations. It was a lot of trial and error, dying a bunch, getting frustrated, but slowly, I started to see some improvement. I started landing more shots, winning more gunfights, and actually feeling like I was making progress.
My Conclusion
Right now, I’m leaning towards the MCW 6.8 as my go-to. It just feels the most consistent for me. But honestly, it really depends on your playstyle. If you’re a more aggressive player who likes to push, the Kar98k might be your jam. If you prefer to play it safe and pick your shots, the DM56 could be a solid choice. It’s all about finding what works best for you and practicing until you get the hang of it. And hey, don’t be afraid to experiment! That’s half the fun of it, right?
