Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Apex Legends map, “World’s Edge,” and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I remember when it first came out way back, it felt huge and a bit confusing at first.
First thing I did was just drop in, no real plan, just wanted to see what this place was all about. It was during one of those early seasons, 3 or 4, I think. I spent hours just running around, getting a feel for the different areas. It used to be this resource extraction place called “New Dawn” I read online, but now it is all abandoned and totally wrecked, turned into a battleground for the Apex Games.

Exploring the Place
I started hitting all the major spots, trying to figure out where the good loot was, where the choke points were, all that stuff. Some areas are like wide open, others are super tight and maze-like. The map is huge, and you really gotta think about your rotations, otherwise you’ll just be running forever.
- There are these crazy tall buildings that I kept climbing up to.
- Found a bunch of hidden spots that I thought were pretty cool.
- Kept running into other players – some were easy, some totally wrecked me.
Figuring Out the Strategy
After a few weeks of playing on World’s Edge, I started to get a better handle on things. I figured out which legends work best there. Like, Bangalore seemed like a good choice, with all those open spaces for her smoke, and I guess Revenant too, don’t know why, maybe because he is good at climbing up buildings and sneaking around. It also seems like they are bringing back the bright blue sky from the early days of the map. I’ve heard folks saying that World’s Edge is coming back soon, and it’s gonna be the map for ranked matches, at least for the first part of the season.
I started to learn the flow of the map. You know, where people tend to land, how they move around, where the final circles usually end up. It took a while, but I finally felt like I knew what I was doing.
Nowadays, I feel way more comfortable on World’s Edge. It’s still a challenging map, but I’ve got my routes, I know where to go, and I can hold my own. But honestly, it took a lot of deaths and a whole bunch of hours to get to this point. It is always interesting to play on this map.
