Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to keep better track of my gaming, especially in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. I used to play it a lot back in the day, and I recently picked it up again for some good old nostalgia. But this time, I wanted to see how I’m actually doing, you know, like, see some real stats.
First, I needed to find a way to track my progress. I remembered there were websites for this kind of thing, but I wasn’t sure which one to use. I did some digging around, you know, the usual online searching. Found out that one of the popular ones is literally called “COD Tracker” – pretty straightforward, huh?

After I found out about COD Tracker, I went to their website. I tried to look around and see if I could find something about Black Ops 2. It seemed like they mostly focused on the newer Call of Duty games, like Warzone and stuff.
So, I started poking around the website more. There are tons of leaderboards and stats for all these new games, which is cool, I guess, but not exactly what I needed. They had options to compare your stats with friends and see where you rank globally, which got me a little curious. I mean, even though it wasn’t for Black Ops 2, it was still kind of interesting to see.
I started to think about how much the game has changed since Black Ops 2. The website talked about how Call of Duty: Black Ops III is set way in the future, like 2065, which is 40 years after Black Ops II. Apparently, there’s a lot of upheaval, conflicts, climate change issues, and crazy new technologies. They even mentioned a Third Cold War between two global alliances. Sounds intense, right?
- Looked up stat-tracking websites.
- Found COD Tracker.
- Browsed their site.
- Explored features for newer games.
- Read about the changes in the game over time.
Honestly, it looks like tracking stats for Black Ops 2 might be a dead end, especially since the focus has shifted to all these newer titles. But hey, it was a fun little trip down memory lane, and I got to see how the Call of Duty world has evolved.
In the end, I might not be able to see my old Black Ops 2 stats, but it’s not a total loss. I got to relive some memories and see what’s new in the Call of Duty universe. Maybe I’ll try out some of these newer games, see how they compare to the good old days of Black Ops 2. Who knows, I might even get hooked on them and start tracking my stats there.
