Alright, guys, let’s talk about this Dune Warzone skin that’s been making the rounds. I’ve been messing around with it for a bit, and I’ve gotta say, it’s pretty interesting.
Getting Started
First off, I started poking around to figure out when this whole thing kicked off. Seems like people started talking about these Dune skins back in March, at least that’s the earliest I could find. But the real buzz started in December 2024. I guess that’s when most players, including myself, really jumped into Warzone. Either that or they were coming back after taking a break, maybe because of that Black Ops 6 thing.

The Hunt Begins
Now, the real deal is this “Apparition” skin. Apparently, it’s the rarest skin in Warzone, and even across all of Call of Duty, which is a pretty big claim. You need to get a Nuke in Warzone 2 to unlock it, which sounds insane. Some folks are saying only 0.001% of players have it, making it super exclusive.
My Own Little Experiment
I didn’t go for the Nuke because I tried many times before. I focused on the Paul Atreides skin instead. It’s based on that Timothée Chalamet character from the Dune movie. To get this one, I just needed some COD Points. It set me back 2400 points, which is about 20 bucks. But you get a bunch of other Dune-themed stuff with it, so it felt like a decent deal. This bundle will run you 2400 COD Points or $20. That said, you do get a neat selection of Dune-themed goodies aside from the Paul Atreides skin.
The Grind
Then there’s this “Trial of Power” event. I spent a good chunk of time grinding through this. The goal was to hit 213200 XP before the event ended. If you manage that, you unlock the “Sand & Spice” camo, which you can then find in the gunsmith under the events camo tab. I went through all ten rewards in this event – weapon camos, charms, the whole nine yards.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s my experience with the Dune Warzone skin stuff. Getting that Paul Atreides skin was straightforward enough, and the Trial of Power event was a fun grind, even though I didn’t get that crazy rare Apparition skin.
It’s been a wild ride, and I’m pretty happy with the stuff I unlocked. If you’re into Dune or just want some new looks in Warzone, it’s definitely worth checking out. I spent hours on this, and it was a blast. I love it.
