Okay, guys, let’s talk about this “On the Offensive” thing in Destiny 2. I spent the whole weekend on this, and I’ve got some stuff to share.
So, first off, I jumped into those Vanguard Operations. You know, just started blasting away at those Cabal guys. I was thinking, “How hard can this be?” Well, let me tell you, it got pretty wild. These Cabal, they’re not messing around. They’ve got this whole command structure thing going on, and they’re super organized. But I found out that if you mess with their leaders, the whole thing starts to fall apart. That was my first move – took out the guys at the top.

Then there’s this Onslaught mode. Man, it’s crazy. You’ve got this ADU thing, which is basically a big robot that you have to protect. I teamed up with a couple of buddies, and we were like a well-oiled machine. One of us would use Dragon’s Breath, while other used Anarchy grenades. We tried to spawn camp those enemies as much as we could. It was like a non-stop wave of enemies, but we held our ground.
I also did some of those nightfall, you know? Earning points. It’s all about teamwork. My fire team’s score was displayed in the bottom right, and we were aiming for that 100 points mark.
Here’s what I did:
- Jumped into Vanguard Operations: Started shooting at those Cabal.
- Focused on the Leaders: Messed up their command structure.
- Teamed up in Onslaught: Protected that ADU thing with my buddies.
- Used Dragon’s Breath and Anarchy grenades: They are pretty strong.
- Tried some Nightfall: Earned points for the fire team.
My Final Thoughts
It was a wild ride, but we got it done. Onslaught is definitely a challenge, but it’s so much fun with a good team. And those Vanguard Operations? They’re a great way to warm up and get some practice in. I even read some guides online for, like, single events and raids. There’s a ton of stuff out there to help you out.
Oh, and one more thing – I saw this blog post about the best Titan Striker builds for PvE. I’m not a Titan main myself, but it looked pretty interesting. Might give it a try sometime. Anyway, that’s my Destiny 2 weekend for you. Hope this helps someone out there. Keep gaming, folks!
