Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with Madden 24 lately, and let me tell you, I hit a wall. I was struggling to get those MUT coins, and my team was, well, let’s just say they weren’t exactly Super Bowl contenders. Then it hit me – Cheat Engine. I’d used it before in other games, so I thought, why not give it a shot here?
First things first, I had to get Cheat Engine up and running. Now, some folks might use that SteamTinkerTool thing, but honestly, I just installed it the old-fashioned way. It was pretty easy, and I just wanted to use it normally.

Once that was sorted, I booted up Madden 24 and started digging into the game’s memory. Cheat Engine lets you mess with any RAM location the game is using, which is pretty wild. I started by looking for values related to my MUT coins. You know, the usual stuff – scanning for the current value, making a change in-game, then scanning again to see what changed.
- Start the game and Cheat Engine: First I fired up Madden 24 and Cheat Engine.
- Find the process: In Cheat Engine, I chose the Madden 24 process.
- Scan for the first value: I went into the game, made a note of the value I wanted to change (like MUT coins), and did an initial scan in Cheat Engine for that value.
- Change the value in game: I went back to the game and made a change that would affect the value (like completing a daily objective).
- Scan for the next value: I went back to Cheat Engine and scanned for the new value after it changed in the game.
- Repeat until you find the right address: I repeated the process of changing the value in-game and scanning in Cheat Engine until I narrowed down the addresses to just a few.
- Modify the value: Once I found the right address, I added it to the address list, and then I could change the value to whatever I wanted.
The tricky part was figuring out which address actually controlled the coins. Sometimes it would be straightforward, but other times I’d have to mess with multiple addresses at once. Turns out, you can select multiple addresses by holding down ctrl or shift, then just double-click the value (or press enter) and type in a new one. Boom! All the selected values change at once.
I also started looking at other things, like player stats. I figured if I could boost my players, maybe I wouldn’t need as many coins. It was the same process – find the address, change the value, and see what happens. I found that sometimes changing one player’s stat would affect others, which was a bit weird, but hey, it worked!
Honestly, it felt a bit like cheating, but at the same time, it made the game way more fun for me. I could finally build the team I wanted without grinding for hours. Plus, it was just cool to see how the game worked under the hood.
I know some people are against this sort of thing, but for me, it was a blast. I even found some online forums where people were sharing their own Cheat Engine tables for Madden 24. It was like a whole community of people tinkering with the game. Anyway, it’s been a wild ride, and I’m definitely going to keep experimenting. Who knows what else I’ll discover?
