Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of questions online about whether “Gang Beasts” has crossplay. I decided to dive in and figure it out myself, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster.
My Crossplay Experiment Begins
First, I grabbed my trusty old PC. Then I got my friend, who’s totally hooked on his PlayStation, to join me. We booted up the game, both super excited to finally play together. I went to the online multiplayer, expecting to just invite him…but the whole thing turned out to be a headache.

Digging Through the Options
We spent a good chunk of time just looking through all the menus. There’s no obvious “invite friend from another platform” button or anything like that. It’s like, they didn’t want to make it easy,it seems that “Gang Beasts” does not support full cross-platform play, sigh.
Platform-Specific Shenanigans
- PC players (Steam, Microsoft Store): I could easily play with other friends who had the game on PC, no problem.
- PlayStation buddies: My friend on PlayStation could play with other PlayStation users, and that also went fine.
- Xbox crew: from the searching,Xbox players can mingle with those on PC if they’re using the Microsoft Store version.
The (Kind of) Disappointing Conclusion
So, the big takeaway here? True, full crossplay across all platforms in “Gang Beasts”? Nope, doesn’t exist. It seems very difficult to start a game with friends from different *’s a bummer, I know. I was really hoping to beat up my PlayStation friend with my wobbly little character, but it looks like that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.
