Okay, so I finally decided to tackle the KH3 trophies. I’d played through the game a couple of times, loved it, but never really bothered with getting all the PlayStation trophies. Figured it was time to change that!
Getting Started
First thing I did was just play normally. No guides, no checklists, just enjoying the story and the worlds. I figured I’d pick up a bunch of trophies naturally this way, and I was right. I beat the game, saw the ending, and felt pretty good.

The Grind Begins
After that first playthrough, I started looking at the trophy list online. I found a good basic list. I had a decent chunk done, but there were a LOT left. Some seemed straightforward, like leveling up Sora to 99, or completing certain mini-games.
I went back to the save just before final boss fight, then started working through the list. I used a lot of Battlegates to grind out the levels, crafted the Ultima Weapon, and synthesized a mountain of items. Some of those synthesis trophies were a real pain – tracking down all those materials took forever!
The Gummi Ship
Then there were the Gummi Ship trophies. Oh boy. I’m not the biggest fan of the Gummi Ship sections, to be honest. But I gritted my teeth and started blasting through space. I had to find all the treasures, build certain blueprints, and get high scores on those missions. It took some practice, but I eventually got the hang of it. Some of those Gummi Ship blueprints are hidden in plain sight!
Mini-Game Madness
The mini-games were a mixed bag. Some, like the Frozen Slider, I actually enjoyed. Others, like the Verum Rex: Beat of Lead mini-game… not so much. Took me several tries to get the required score. Also a few tries at Festival Dance.
The Final Push
Finally, I was down to just a few miscellaneous trophies. Taking photos of all the Lucky Emblems, cooking all the dishes with Remy, that sort of thing. These were mostly just time-consuming, but not too difficult.
Platinum Achieved!
And then, it happened. The final trophy popped, and I had the platinum! It was a pretty satisfying feeling, seeing that 100% completion. Definitely took some effort, but it was worth it in the end. Now, onto the next game!
