First things first, I had to get admin access. Now, I’m running my own dedicated server, which made things a bit easier. If you’re playing on someone else’s server, you’ll need to sweet-talk the admin, pal. No shortcuts there. On my server I had to edit the configuration files before start.
Setting Up the Admin Password
I Located the * file.I found that the file should be in “steamappscommonPalServerPalSavedConfigWindowsServer”.
I Opened the file, and changed the “AdminPassword=,,” to a new one like “AdminPassword=, ,123”.Then saved the file.
I Restarted my Palworld server.
Using Admin Commands In-Game
Okay, so with admin powers activated, it was time to actually use some commands. I hopped into the game, joined my server, and hit the Enter key to bring up the chat window.
To enter the admin command,I entered /AdminPassword and my new set password
Then I get the notification like “You are now an administrator”
I started typing “/ShowPlayers”.Boom! A list of all the players currently on the server, that was so cool!
Next I want to try kick a player.I Found a player name “badboy”,and typed”/KickPlayer badboy”.He was kicked from my server!
Then “/BanPlayer”. This one’s the nuclear option. I tested and it worked.
I also tried /Broadcast to send message to all the * was fun!
I also used /Save. It is useful.
