Okay, so today I decided to dive into the TFT PBE to check out the new set. First thing I did was fire up my computer and launch the PBE client. It took a bit to download all the updates – you know how it is with PBE, always patching.
Once everything was loaded, I jumped straight into a game. I wanted to see the new traits and champions firsthand. I didn’t really have a plan, just wanted to explore.

My first game was, well, a bit of a mess. I was trying out all sorts of combinations, not really paying attention to synergies. I think I ended up with some weird mix of, like, Inkshadow and Behemoth, it was not pretty. Let me tell you, it was rough. Got absolutely stomped.
So, for the second game, I had made notes about some of my erors, I decided to focus on a specific trait – I went with Heavenly. Seemed pretty straightforward, and I wanted to see how those bonuses stacked * felt much better! I managed to snag a few early Heavenly units and started building around them.
- Getting a feel for the early game economy.
- Experimenting with different item combinations.
- Finally winning a round, haha!
Things going well:
I even managed to hit a 3-star on one of my Heavenly units – I forget which one, to be honest, there are so many new champions! Anyway, it felt pretty powerful. I still didn’t win the whole thing, but I definitely did better than the first game, climbed to the top 4.
After a few more games, I started to get a better grasp of things. Which champions is too weak or too op. I played around with a few different comps, tried out some of the new items, and generally just tried to soak it all in.
By the end of my session, I felt like I had a decent starting point for understanding the new set. I’ve got a few ideas for comps I want to try out next time, and I’m definitely looking forward to playing more. It’s always a bit chaotic at the start of a new set, but that’s part of the fun, right?
I recorded all my findings and going to keep testing it tomorrow! Hopefully I can get the first place next time.
