So, I’ve been grinding away in Elder Scrolls Online lately, and let me tell you, I’ve been on the hunt for this “Desert Rose” set. I heard it’s pretty decent for support builds, especially if you’re into light armor. I mean, who doesn’t love a good light armor set, right?
First off, I had to figure out where to even get this thing. Turns out, it’s a PvP set, which means heading over to Cyrodiil. Not my favorite place, to be honest, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do. I started by doing some quests and stuff around Cropsford. You know, the usual grind. I also checked out the Cropsford Elite Gear Vendor to see if he had anything.
I ended up getting some pieces from those boxes you buy with Alliance Points. The vendor sometimes has some, so I kept checking, you never know what he might have. I spent a good chunk of time running around, fighting other players, and just trying to gather enough Alliance Points. It’s a bit of a pain, but slowly but surely, I started to piece the set together.
I’m running a Dragonknight tank build, and I thought, why not try out this Desert Rose set? I had been using Plague Doctor before, which is great, but I wanted to see if Desert Rose could give me a bit more support capability. It’s supposed to be good for when you take damage, so I figured it might help keep me alive a bit longer in those crazy PvP battles.
- Head to Cyrodiil: This is where the action is. PvP and all that.
- Grind for Alliance Points: You need these to buy the set pieces.
- Check the Cropsford Elite Gear Vendor: He sometimes has pieces of the set.
- Complete Quests in Cropsford: Some quests give you pieces as rewards.
After a few days of grinding, I finally got the 5-piece bonus. The full set! I was stoked. I equipped it on my DK tank and jumped right into some battles. I got hit, and I noticed a difference, I feel like it’s doing something, but maybe it’s placebo. But I did have fun gathering the set pieces!
My Opinion
The Desert Rose set is alright. It is a PvP set and can be obtained in Cyrodiil. The Cropsford Elite Gear Vendor is a good place to look, and you can also get pieces from quests around Cropsford and from boxes you buy with Alliance Points. If you’re into light armor support builds and spend time in Cyrodiil, it might be worth checking out. It’s not a game-changer, but it’s a fun little set to try out if you’re bored with your current gear. That’s my two cents, anyway. Happy gaming!
