Hey everyone, it’s your boy back at it again with another one of my gaming escapades. So, the other day I was diving deep into this mech game, you know, “Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.” It’s been a hot minute since the last one came out, like a decade or something. I was really into customizing my mech, which is fun as hell by the way.
Getting Started
First things first, I booted up the game. I’ve been playing on PC, and let me tell you, it runs smoother than butter. I heard some folks online complaining about PC ports, but I haven’t run into any issues. I started with the single-player campaign, getting the hang of the controls and combat, all that good stuff.

Diving into Multiplayer
Then I thought, why not see what the multiplayer is all about? The main story is cool and all, but I wanted to test my skills against real people. Figuring out how to get into the multiplayer mode was a bit of a head-scratcher at first. But after messing around in the menus, I finally found it.
Crossplay Confusion
Now, here’s where things got interesting. I was trying to figure out if I could play with my buddies who are on consoles. I mean, crossplay is all the rage these days, right? So I did some digging online. Turns out, the developers, FromSoftware, haven’t really said much about whether “Armored Core 6” has crossplay or not. It’s a bit of a bummer because playing with friends on different platforms is always a blast.
The Verdict(So Far)
So, for now, it seems like we’re in the dark about crossplay. I’m hoping they’ll add it in the future. It would definitely make the game even better. I mean, who wouldn’t want to team up with or go head-to-head against their friends, no matter what system they’re on? But the game tend to perform better on new gen, I guess it’s better than nothing.
Keeping Hope Alive
I’m not giving up hope, though. I’ll keep my ear to the ground for any updates. And in the meantime, I’ll keep honing my skills in the game. Who knows, maybe by the time they add crossplay, I’ll be unstoppable!
Anyway, that’s my two cents on “Armored Core VI” and the whole crossplay mystery. What do you guys think? Have you been playing? Let me know in the comments!
