Alright, let’s talk about that time I got my ship stuck in Sea of Thieves. I swear, it happens to the best of us. I was sailing along, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, BAM! I found myself wedged between a rock and a hard place. Literally.
First, I tried the usual stuff. I ordered my crew to raised all the sails, spun the wheel like a madman, and even tried using the harpoon to pull us out. No dice. We were stuck there good. Next, I remembered some tips I’d heard, and figured I had nothing to lose.
Here’s what I did:
- Got wasted. Yep, you heard that right. I chugged down a whole tankard of grog. My pirate became so drunk that he started stumbling around, and wouldn’t you know it, he stumbled right off the ship! But I didn’t teleport back to my boat.
- Force quit. Since I was still stuck on the rock, I hit Alt+F4 and force-quit the game. Then, I fired it back up, and luckily, I got the prompt to rejoin my previous session. And I had to do this within 10 minutes, otherwise I won’t be able to rejoin.
When I loaded back in, I was back on my ship, which was now miraculously floating freely in the water. I have no idea how that worked, but I wasn’t about to question it. I guess sometimes you just need a little liquid courage and a quick reboot to solve your problems.
So, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation in Sea of Thieves, don’t panic. Just remember my little trick, and you might just get yourself unstuck. And hey, if all else fails, at least you’ll have a good laugh watching your pirate stumble around like a drunken fool. Happy sailing!
