Alright, so I got into this whole “Kyurem counters in Pokemon GO” thing. It all started a few days ago when I was trying to take down Kyurem in a raid. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy! I threw in everything I had, but that ice dragon just wouldn’t go down. It felt like I was just throwing pebbles at a brick wall.
So, I did what any frustrated Pokemon trainer would do – I hit the internet. I started digging around, looking for tips on how to beat this beast. There was a lot of noise out there, with different sites giving different advice. Finally, I found a couple of sources that seemed legit, talking about the best Kyurem counters and stuff. They were all about using Pokemon with specific types of attacks, like fast attacks and charged attacks. And they mentioned something called DPS and TDO, which I figured must be important since it’s all about how much damage you can deal and how much you can take.

My Strategy
Based on what I learned, I started building my team. I picked out Pokemon that were strong against Kyurem’s type. Here’s what I ended up with:
- Lucario: I saw that this guy is pretty good in the guide.
- Metagross: I remember I got this one a long time ago. It’s strong so I put it into my team.
- Terrakion: This Pokemon’s name is in the list, so I tried to use it.
I made sure they had the right moves, like the fast attacks and charged attacks that those guides mentioned. It took some time, and a lot of TMs, but I finally got them ready. I felt like a general preparing for a big battle!
The Rematch
Then came the moment of truth – the rematch. I joined another Kyurem raid, this time with my new and improved team. The battle started, and I was ready. I used my Lucario first, and it was a monster! It was landing hits left and right. Then I switched to Metagross and Terrakion, and they were just as good. It was like night and day compared to my first try.
We finally beat Kyurem, and it felt amazing! It was like all that research and preparation had paid off. I was so excited that I even caught Kyurem afterward. It’s now one of my strongest Pokemon.
So, that’s my story of how I tackled the Kyurem challenge in Pokemon GO. It was a real journey, from getting totally wrecked to finally coming out on top. I learned a lot about strategy, and it made the game even more fun for me. If you’re struggling with Kyurem, I hope my experience can help you out. Just remember to do your research, pick the right counters, and get those moves right. Good luck!
