So, I got into this game called Marvel Snap recently, and let me tell you, it’s addictive. I’ve been playing it non-stop, trying to climb the ranks and get all the cool cards. And, with the new month rolling in, there’s a fresh batch of cards that just dropped, specifically for May. I got right into it to take a look to figure out what I wanted.
Checked Out the New Cards
First thing I did was hop into the game and check out the new cards for May. There were a few that caught my eye. I spent some time reading their abilities, looking at their power levels, and trying to figure out which ones would be the most fun to play with.

- Mirage – This card was one of the first ones I grabbed.
- Negasonic Teenage Warhead – Her ability seemed pretty unique, so I wanted to test it out.
- Legion – His effect sounded crazy, so I just had to try and build a deck around him.
- High Evolutionary – It seemed like he had a lot of potential, so I spent some time figuring out how to best use him.
- The Living Tribunal – This card sounded really powerful, and I could see it fitting into a few of my decks.
Experimented with Decks
After grabbing the new cards, I started experimenting with different decks. I threw together a few different combinations, trying to see what worked and what didn’t. It was a lot of trial and error, but I finally found a few decks that I liked.
One deck I made focused on using Mirage to copy powerful cards from my opponent’s hand. It was pretty satisfying to steal their best cards and use them against them.
Another deck used Negasonic Teenage Warhead to control the board and mess with my opponent’s plays. It took a bit of practice to get the timing right, but once I did, it was super effective.
I also made a really chaotic deck around Legion. His ability to change a location to a different one could lead to some really unexpected and hilarious situations. It wasn’t always the most consistent deck, but it was definitely the most fun.
Played a Bunch of Games
With my new decks ready, I jumped into a bunch of games. I played a mix of ranked and unranked matches, just trying to get a feel for how the new cards performed in real gameplay. I won some, I lost some, but overall I had a blast.
Refined My Decks
After playing a bunch of games, I went back and refined my decks. I swapped out some cards that weren’t working as well as I’d hoped and added in some others that seemed like they might be a better fit. It was a constant process of tweaking and adjusting, but I think I finally got my decks to a place where I was happy with them.
Climbed the Ranks
With my refined decks in hand, I started focusing on climbing the ranked ladder. I played a ton of ranked games, slowly but surely making my way up the ranks. It wasn’t always easy, but it was definitely rewarding to see my progress.
I also tried to focus on building a deck around High Evolutionary. After some tweaks I managed to get him to fit in and got some wins on the ladder with it.
Unlocked More Cards
As I played, I also managed to unlock some more of the new cards. The Living Tribunal was one that I was particularly excited about. I immediately started trying to incorporate it into my decks, and it ended up being a really powerful addition.
Kept Playing
Even after getting all the new cards and climbing the ranks, I kept playing. Marvel Snap is just one of those games that’s hard to put down. There’s always something new to try, some new strategy to test out. And with the new cards from May, there’s even more to explore. I just kept tweaking my decks and trying new things. The Living Tribunal deck was getting better and better, and I was having a blast. I feel like I am going to keep playing this game for a while.
