Okay, here is my sharing about hyacinths in Animal Crossing.
So, I was trying to get into this whole flower-breeding thing in Animal Crossing. It seemed like a chill way to spend some time in the game, you know? And I really wanted some of those fancy hybrid colors. I’d seen pictures online, and they looked awesome. I decided to start with hyacinths because I heard they were relatively easy to deal with.
First, I bought a bunch of hyacinth seeds from the Nook’s Cranny. I got red, white, and yellow ones, since those are the basic colors. I planted them in a checkerboard pattern, leaving space between each flower. This is supposed to give them room to breed. It took a while, I think I was watering them every day, but I am not sure.
Then, I just waited. And watered. And waited some more. It felt like forever. But finally, I started seeing some new colors pop up! I got some pink hyacinths, which was cool. I think you get those from breeding red and white ones together, but I may be wrong. To be honest, I totally forgot to take any notes, that’s my bad.
Next, I tried to get some orange ones. I moved my new pink hyacinths to another area and then planted more red and yellow ones in the checkerboard pattern. I’m pretty sure orange comes from red and yellow. More waiting, more watering. I also caught some bugs and fished while I was waiting, just to pass the time.
Eventually, I got some orange hyacinths! It was pretty exciting, to be honest.
- Getting blue hyacinths was a bit trickier. I moved the orange ones away and planted some white ones together. I kept at it, and one day, bam! Blue hyacinth. That was definitely a highlight.
- I even managed to get a purple one. I think that comes from breeding two orange hyacinths together. That one took the longest, but it was worth it. It’s probably the rarest color.
My whole flower garden was looking pretty sweet after a while. I ended up with a rainbow of hyacinths. It was a lot of work, but also kinda relaxing, you know? If you’re looking for something to do in Animal Crossing, I definitely recommend giving flower breeding a try. Just be prepared to be patient! And maybe take some notes, unlike me.
By the way, I also heard that if you have visitors come and water your flowers, it increases the chances of getting hybrids. I didn’t do it, but that can be a way. I guess that’s something to try next time!
Oh right, I also tried to find some information like “2521 Hyacinth Ln” and some “crossword” stuff online to see if there were any tips or tricks, but honestly, it didn’t really help much. It was mostly just random stuff that wasn’t related to the game.
Anyway, that’s my hyacinth story. Hope you found it helpful, or at least a little entertaining!
