Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this “itadori fortnite account” thing pop up everywhere, and I got curious. You know, like, what’s the big deal? So I decided to jump in and see what all the fuss was about. First, I had to make sure I actually had Fortnite installed. Turns out I did, but hadn’t played in ages. Dusted off that old account, and logged in.
Next up, I started googling around about this Itadori thing, figured out it’s some character from an anime, Jujutsu Kaisen or something. Never seen it, but hey, the character looks cool. Apparently, there was a whole event in Fortnite where you could get this Itadori skin and other stuff related to the anime. Sounds neat!
Started digging into how to actually get this Itadori stuff. Seemed like there used to be a special pass you could buy, like a mini battle pass. Played some matches, tried to figure out what I needed to do. Felt like a total noob again, running around getting blasted by everyone. Good times.
Then it got a little tricky, because it turns out that this Jujutsu Kaisen event is over. Bummer! But, there were these things called “Break the Curse! Quests”, which is probably how people got it during the event. I did find out that the Itadori skin itself was in the Item Shop, and you could buy it with V-Bucks. Didn’t want to spend real money on it, though.
Kept playing, trying to see if there were any leftover challenges or anything to earn the skin. No luck. From what I gathered, I had missed my chance, at least for the free way to get it.
So, after a few hours of playing, I had to accept defeat. No Itadori skin for me, unless I want to fork over some cash, which I don’t. But at least I understand what everyone’s talking about now.
