So, I’ve been diving deep into The Elder Scrolls Online lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I decided to roll with a Necromancer, because, well, who doesn’t love raising the dead, right? After some serious grinding, I finally got my hands on the Draugrkin’s Grip set. And boy, was that a journey.
It all started when a buddy of mine, who’s way more into ESO than I am, told me about this set. He was going on about how it boosts your damage when you’re low on stamina, which sounded perfect for my playstyle. I’m the kind of guy who likes to jump right into the fray, sometimes forgetting to manage my resources properly.

Getting the Pieces
First things first, I had to figure out where to get the pieces. Turns out, this set drops in the Direfrost Keep dungeon. So, I rallied a few guildmates, and we started running the dungeon. Now, I’m not gonna lie, the first few runs were a disaster. We were getting our butts kicked by those frost atronachs and that annoying final boss.
- First Attempt: Total wipe on the third boss. We were so demoralized.
- Second Attempt: Made it to the final boss but couldn’t break through her ice shield.
- Third Attempt: Finally got the hang of it. Cleared the dungeon but no Draugrkin pieces. Bummer.
We kept at it, though. After about a week of grinding, I managed to snag a couple of pieces. The excitement was real! I got the gloves and the belt, which was a good start. But I needed the whole five-piece set to really see the benefits. So, back into the dungeon we went.
The Grind Continues
The next few days were a blur of ice, frost, and frustration. My guildmates were getting tired of Direfrost Keep, and honestly, so was I. But I was determined. I spent hours each day just running that dungeon, hoping for those last few pieces to drop.
Then, one evening, it finally happened. During one of our runs, the final boss dropped the Draugrkin’s Grip necklace. I almost screamed! I quickly rolled need on it, and luckily, I won. That was the last piece I needed.
Putting It to the Test
With the full set equipped, I was ready to test it out. I headed to a nearby delve and started tearing through enemies. And let me tell you, the difference was night and day. As my stamina dropped, my damage spiked. I was mowing down mobs like a madman. It was glorious!
I even took it into some PvP action in Cyrodiil. Running low on stamina was no longer a death sentence. In fact, it was an advantage. I was taking down players left and right, and it felt amazing. My Necromancer was a force to be reckoned with.
Final Thoughts
Getting the Draugrkin’s Grip set was a grind, no doubt about it. But it was totally worth it. My Necromancer is now a powerhouse, and I’m having a blast in both PvE and PvP. If you’re a Necromancer main in ESO, I highly recommend giving this set a try. Just be prepared for a bit of a grind. But trust me, it’s worth it in the end.
So yeah, that’s my story. It wasn’t easy, but I did it. And now, I’m here to tell the tale. Happy gaming, folks!
