Alright, so I’ve been grinding away in Warzone lately, trying to figure out which guns are actually worth using. It’s a jungle out there, and showing up with the wrong piece can get you sent back to the lobby real quick. So, I decided to put in some serious hours and put together a little tier list of my own.
My Testing Process
First off, I hopped into a bunch of matches – you know, the usual Plunder, a bit of Resurgence, some regular Battle Royale. I used different guns each time, some that I found on the ground, others that I got from my loadouts. I also watched a ton of videos from those Warzone pro guys, just to see what they were running and if I was missing anything big.

I paid attention to how quickly I could down people with each gun, how easy the recoil was to control, and how much ammo I was burning through. I made a few notes on my phone, just like what guns I tried, how many people I shot with them, and if I felt good or bad using them. Nothing too fancy, just enough to help me remember.
- Close Range Beasts – These are your shotguns and some SMGs. I checked which ones could delete people up close without having to be a headshot master.
- Mid-Range – This is where most fights happen, right? So I tested a bunch of assault rifles and LMGs to see which ones could hold their own when things weren’t quite so in-your-face.
- Long Range – Snipers and marksman rifles. I’m not the best sniper, but I tried to find out which ones were the most forgiving for us normal folks.
What I Found Out
After a few weeks of this, I started to see some patterns. Some guns were just way better than others, no matter how you sliced it. For example, I realized that some of the newer guns they added were kind of overpowered – you know, the usual “pay-to-win” kind of deal. But there were also some old favorites that still held up.
I put together a simple tier list in my notes, ranking guns from S-tier (the best) down to D-tier (the ones you should probably avoid). I made sure to update it every couple of days, especially after those annoying little patches that always seem to change everything.
Sharing Is Caring
Finally, I thought, why keep all this to myself? So I cleaned up my notes a bit and posted my tier list on my blog. I also added some loadout suggestions, just like those pro players I was watching. It is not much, but it’s honest work, you know? I just hope it helps someone out there avoid getting stomped because they picked up the wrong gun.
And that’s pretty much it. I’m still playing and updating my list, so it’s not like this is the end-all-be-all of Warzone weapon guides. But hey, it’s a start, and it’s based on my own sweat and tears in the game. If you’ve got any guns you think I should check out, hit me up. Let’s figure this Warzone thing out together.
