Okay, so, I’ve been playing a ton of Fortnite lately, and I got super into this whole Attack on Titan crossover event. There’s this one quest that had me running around like crazy – finding the Jaeger family basement. Seriously, I spent hours on this thing!
The Search Begins
First off, I started dropping into Anvil Square because that’s where everyone online said it was. I mean, everyone was talking about Anvil Square. So I figured, easy peasy, right? Wrong.
I landed there what felt like a hundred times, searched every single building, every nook and cranny. I even knocked down walls thinking maybe it was hidden behind some secret passage or something. No luck. Nothing. Nada.
Then, I started getting smart about it. Or so I thought. I pulled up a bunch of YouTube videos and online guides. They all pointed to this one specific house in the southeastern part of Anvil Square. Okay, great, I thought I finally had it figured out.
Getting Closer
I followed the guides, landed right by that house, and ran straight for it. But get this – there were like ten other players doing the exact same thing! It was a madhouse!
I fought my way through, dodging shotgun blasts and pickaxe swings, finally made it into the house. I raced to the spot where the basement was supposed to be… and nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. There was a basement, but it was just a regular old basement. No secret Titan stuff, no special items, nothing.
The “Aha!” Moment
I was so frustrated. I was about to give up, rage quit, the whole nine yards. But then, I saw a tiny detail in one of the videos. I had been going to the right house, but the wrong part of the house. See, the entrance to the Jaeger basement isn’t inside the main part of the house. Oh no, that would be too easy.
The actual entrance is outside, on the eastern side of the house. There’s this little wooden door that blends in with the wall. It’s super easy to miss, especially when you’re dodging bullets and building walls for cover.
Success at Last!
So, I dropped into Anvil Square one more time, a little skeptical but still hopeful. I ran straight for that house, found the little door on the side, and boom! There it was, the Jaeger family basement. It wasn’t that big or that important. but I finded it. Finally!
It was such a relief to finally find it. I finished the quest, got my rewards, and learned a valuable lesson: pay attention to the details, even when you’re getting shot at in a video game. And, you know, maybe don’t trust everything you read online the first time around!
- Land at Anvil Square. Yeah, it’s a hot drop, but that’s where you gotta be.
- Head to the right house. It’s the one in the southeastern corner of the area.
- Look for the tiny door. It’s on the eastern side of the house, outside, not inside.
