Alright, so I’ve been grinding away at MLB The Show 23, and let me tell you, these “Program Stars” are a whole thing. Started playing this game just like other baseball game, it’s like a digital baseball card collection, but way more interactive. You fire up the game, and you’re immediately thrown into this world where you can play as your favorite teams, collect players, and all that jazz.
First off, I dove into the “Programs” section. It’s kinda like those battle passes you see in games like Fortnite, as far as I know. You complete challenges, play games, and earn rewards. These “Program Stars” are basically the points you gotta accumulate to unlock the good stuff.

- Started by checking out the daily moments. Easy enough, right? Knock out a few quick challenges and boom, you got some stars.
- Then I moved on to the showdowns. These are a bit tougher, more like mini-tournaments. You draft a team and try to beat a series of challenges. Lost a few times, ngl, but finally got the hang of it.
- Conquest was next. This is like a strategy game within the game. You take over territories on a map by playing games against other teams. It takes time, but it’s a good way to rack up those stars, and rewards as well.
I spent hours grinding through these modes. Sometimes it felt like a chore, but then I’d unlock a new player or some sweet gear, and it felt worth it. It’s like a constant feedback loop, you know? Play, earn, unlock, repeat.
The Marketplace
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the marketplace. It’s a whole economy in the game! Prices fluctuate every 30 seconds, I just keep my eyes on the changes. You can buy and sell players, equipment, all sorts of stuff. I even managed to flip a few cards for a profit, feeling like a real baseball card shark.
Finally, after all that grinding, I managed to unlock some of the top-tier rewards. We’re talking legendary players, diamond equipment, the whole nine yards. It’s a good feeling, seeing all that hard work pay off.
So yeah, that’s my experience with the “Program Stars” in MLB The Show 23. It’s a grind, but it’s a rewarding one. If you’re a baseball fan and you like collecting stuff, you’ll probably get hooked just like I did. This game is like a big time sink, to be honest.
And also, career mode is a mainstay of any good sports game. I just played it and enjoy the feeling of becoming a Hall of Fame.
Recently, I need to add some new function in one of our script at work, it’s kind of hard, but I will figure it out.
There is a reaction equation at my note, A + 2B → 3C + 2D, and I do not even know what it is used for, maybe for chemical or something.
That’s all for my sharing, hope you enjoy it.
