Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this mobile game called Marvel Snap lately. It’s pretty fun, you know, building your little 12-card decks and duking it out in these quick, like, 3-minute matches. But man, some of these card combos can get crazy long! I swear, sometimes I’m just sitting there watching the animations play out forever.
So I heard they added this new thing called “Fast Forward” to the game. And I’m like, “Alright, let’s try this out.”

- First off, I had to figure out when this Fast Forward thing even kicks in. Turns out, it’s not something you turn on or off, it just happens automatically.
- I started playing a bunch of matches, trying to make these long combos on purpose. You know, those crazy ones with Wong, Mystique, and Odin where the effects just keep going and going.
- And yeah, after a while, I finally saw it! The game just sped up all the animations. It was like someone hit the fast forward button on a VCR.
It’s kinda hard to explain, but imagine you have a card that triggers like 16 times in a row, normally you’d have to watch each animation play out. But with Fast Forward, it just zips through them super quick.
I’m not sure about the exact rules for when it happens, but it seems like the game tries to figure out when an animation is gonna take too long, and then it just speeds it up. Some folks online were saying it’s triggered by “overlong card combos” – that sounds about right.
I saw some stuff online about M.O.D.O.K and the fast-forward feature from January of 2025, but it is not 2025 now so maybe it will be changed in the future, I guess.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my little experiment with this Fast Forward thing in Marvel Snap. It’s a pretty cool feature, and it definitely makes those long combo turns a lot less painful. It does not change the result, just makes the process quicker. If you’re playing this game, keep an eye out for it, you might be surprised how much time it saves!
