Okay, so I’ve been grinding for a while now, trying to figure out what really makes a good top laner in the current meta. And let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started off just picking whatever champion looked cool, you know, the usual noob stuff. Ended up feeding more than I was actually playing the game.
Then I started to do some research, checking out what the pros were playing, reading some guides online. “Here are the best character classes and builds tier lists you can use.” “Statistical Agent Tier List.” That kind of stuff. It was a lot of information to take in. I saw some fancy words, like “Expert Consensus Ranking,” and “Character Guides,” but honestly, it all felt kinda overwhelming at first.

So, I decided to just jump in and try out a bunch of different champions. I played everything from tanks to fighters to even some weird mage picks up top. I kept track of what worked and what didn’t. Like, I’d have games where I’d absolutely dominate with one champion, and then the next game, I’d get stomped using the same one. It was frustrating, but also kinda fun in a weird way.
My Experiment
- Phase 1: Tried out a whole bunch of champions.
- Phase 2: Checked out some guides and pro player stuff online.
- Phase 3: Started keeping notes on what was working and what wasn’t.
After a lot of trial and error, I started to notice some patterns. Certain champions just seemed to consistently perform better than others. It wasn’t just about the champion itself, but also how I was playing them. I learned that it’s not just about doing a lot of damage, you also gotta know when to be aggressive and when to play it safe. Like that quote said, “Fulfill distinct roles.” And I found that was true for all type of games.
So, I put together my own little tier list, based on my experiences. And that’s what I wanted to share. It’s not about what the “best” champion is, but rather which champions are good for different playstyles. It took me a lot of time to try out different characters, but after my own trying, I found that “The best characters are Salvador and Krieg.” And if you want to grind, I don’t recommend using buddha, just use kitsune instead.
I’ve been using this list to climb the ranks, and it’s been working pretty well. But remember, this is just my experience. What works for me might not work for you. So take this with a huge grain of salt, okay?
Anyway, that’s my story of figuring out top lane. It’s been a journey, and I’m still learning. But hopefully, my little experiment can help some of you out there who are also struggling to find your footing in the top lane. Just remember to have fun, and don’t be afraid to try new things!
