Alright, so today I wanted to mess around and make that Fortnite logo, you know, the “OG” one. First thing I did was fire up my computer and try to remember my Epic Games login. It took me a few tries, typing in my email address, then my password… nope, wrong one. Tried another password… still no good. Finally got it on the third try!
Once I was in, I kinda poked around the Epic Games launcher for a bit. I saw a thing that said, “Enter the product code distributed with a retail DVD or other Epic Games product code here.” I didn’t have any of that, so I just skipped it.

I spent some time digging through the Fortnite section. They had a bunch of stuff about Battle Royale, Creative/UEFN, Save the World, and a whole lot more. I found this Fortnite FAQ that had answers to, like, every question you could think of about the game. It was pretty helpful, honestly, even though I wasn’t really looking for help, just kinda browsing.
Searching for inspiration
After that, I hopped on the internet to look at some examples of the Fortnite logo. I figured I needed a refresher on what it actually looked like. I found a ton of different versions, some from the game, some fan-made. I saved a few of the ones I liked best to my computer so I could reference them later.
Putting it all together
Finally, I opened up my design software and started playing around. I started with the basic shapes, just trying to get the outline of the letters right. It took a while, and there was a lot of tweaking and adjusting, but eventually, I got it looking pretty close to the actual logo.
- First, the “F” – That was a bit tricky with the curves and angles.
- Then the “O” – This one was easy, just a simple circle, really.
- The “R” and “T” – These were kind of similar, with a mix of straight lines and a few curves.
- The “N” and “I” – The “N” was a little tricky, and “I” was, thankfully, the easiest.
- The last three letters “T”, “E” – These were also not too bad, getting the font style was the real challenge here.
Once I had the basic shapes down, I started messing with the colors and effects. I tried to match the colors from the examples I saved earlier, but I also experimented with a few different gradients and textures. I wanted to give it my own personal touch, you know?
In the end, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It wasn’t perfect, but it definitely looked like the Fortnite logo. It was a fun little project, and it was cool to see how all the different pieces came together. I spent quite a while on this, maybe a bit too long, but hey, it was a good time! I even found some support articles on their website, “Need help with your Fortnite game or account? Fortnite Support articles contain guides and instructions for resolving your customer service needs.” Not really what I was after, but good to know it’s there.
And, oh yeah, at the bottom of one of the pages, it said, “2025, Epic Games.” Just thought that was interesting.
Anyway, that’s my story of making the Fortnite OG logo. Hope you enjoyed it!
