Okay, so I was messing around with Palworld the other day, and I wanted to get admin access on my server. It’s not super obvious how to do it, but I figured it out, and I’m here to share how I did it, step-by-step.
First off, I went into the server settings. You gotta set an admin password there. It’s pretty straightforward, just find the right spot in the settings menu and type in a password you’ll remember. I made mine something easy, but not too easy, you know?

Once I had the password set, I saved the changes and restarted the server. This part is important, don’t skip it! You gotta restart it for the changes to take effect.
After the server was back up, I jumped into the game. Then I opened up the chat window. I typed in /AdminPassword followed by the password I had set earlier. So like, /AdminPassword mysecretpassword, but, obviously, use your own password there.
-
Set the admin password in the server settings.
-
Save the settings and restart the server.
-
Join the server and open the chat.
-
Type in /AdminPassword followed by your password.
Here’s a quick rundown:
And boom, I was the admin. From there, I could run all sorts of commands to manage the server. It’s pretty cool to have that kind of control. I haven’t messed around with all the commands yet, but it’s on my to-do list. I hope this helps anyone else who was trying to figure this out!
