Alright, so I’ve been messing around with Teamfight Tactics lately, and let me tell you, figuring out the best items for Seraphine has been a real journey. I started off just slapping whatever items I had onto her, thinking, “She’s a mage, so she needs mage stuff, right?” Wrong. Well, not entirely wrong, but definitely not the best way to go about it.
First, I dug into some online guides and stuff. You know, the usual places where people share their TFT strategies. There’s a bunch of info out there, but it’s kinda scattered and sometimes even contradictory. I spent a good chunk of time just reading through forums and watching gameplay videos. Some folks were saying one thing, others were swearing by something completely different. It was a bit of a mess, to be honest.

Then I decided to get my hands dirty and just start experimenting in the game. I played a bunch of matches, trying out different item combinations on Seraphine. I kept notes on what seemed to work well and what totally flopped. It was a lot of trial and error, let me tell you. I lost some games pretty badly, but hey, that’s how you learn, right?
-
Attempt 1: Full Ability Power. I loaded her up with items like Rabadon’s Deathcap, and other stuff. Seemed like a good idea at the time. She did a lot of damage, but she was super squishy and got taken out pretty fast.
-
Attempt 2: More Survivability. I tried giving her items that boosted her health and resistances, like. This helped her stay alive longer, but then her damage output was kinda meh.
-
Attempt 3: The Balance. This is where things started to click. I realized I needed a mix of damage and utility. Items that give her mana, ability power, and maybe a bit of tankiness. Spear of Shojin? Good stuff. Archangel’s Staff? Also pretty solid.
My Findings
After all that messing around, I found that Seraphine really shines when you give her items that let her cast her ability frequently and boost its power. She’s not really meant to be a tank, but she also can’t be a glass cannon. A good balance is key. You want her to stay alive long enough to get those heals and shields off, but also pack a punch with her damage. It took a while, but I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code. At least, it’s working for me in my current games. Maybe things will change as the meta shifts, but for now, I’m pretty happy with my Seraphine item discoveries.
And I recorded all the item combinations in my notebook so that I can use it next time.
This is my Seraphine TFT items journey, thanks for reading!
