Alright, so I’ve been wanting to get into the DLC for Atomic Heart. I mean, the base game was pretty cool, but I heard some mixed things about the DLC, especially the price. So, I decided to do some digging and see what the deal was.
First, I checked out the Atomic Pass. Apparently, this thing gets you all the DLCs, four of them. Seemed like a good deal, potentially. It promised new areas, new weapons, some new enemies and bosses, and even some exclusive cosmetics. Okay, cool, sounds like what I’m looking for.

Then I started looking at individual DLCs. The one that caught my eye was called “Trapped in Limbo.” It’s part of the Atomic Pass, and the description said it continues the story in the world of Limbo. I was intrigued, so I dug a little deeper into this one.
I found some forum discussions, and man, were they a mixed bag. Some people said the “Trapped in Limbo” DLC was repetitive, with one guy even mentioning a “ball chase” and another talking about some surfing-style sliding. Not exactly selling it. But then others were saying it was worth it if you really loved the main game.
- Checked out the Atomic Pass, includes 4 DLCs.
- “Trapped in Limbo” DLC continues the story.
- Mixed reviews on forums, some say it’s repetitive.
I also saw that there are two more DLCs coming up, number 3 and 4, in the future. I was a bit confused about the release dates, though. One post said November 24, 2024, another said January 28, 2025, and one said June 2023 or 2024! I guess we’ll have to wait and see on those.
There was another DLC coming up on January 28, 2025, called “Enchantment Under the Sea.”
Then there’s the whole price thing. I saw that some editions, like the Gold Edition and the Premium Edition, include the DLCs. And apparently, there are sales where you can get them for up to 50% off! So, I made a mental note to keep an eye out for those.
My Final Thoughts
Honestly, after all this, I’m still on the fence. I think I’m gonna wait for a sale and maybe watch some gameplay videos of the “Trapped in Limbo” DLC before I make a decision. The new DLCs sound interesting, but with those vague release dates, who knows when they’ll actually come out? I guess time will tell. It’s a tough call, but I’m leaning towards giving it a shot when the price is right. I mean, who doesn’t love a good discount? Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of Atomic Heart DLC pricing. Hope it was helpful for someone out there!
