Okay, so I’ve been having some real trouble with this Snorlax in battles lately. That big guy is tough! I mean, he just sits there and takes hits like it’s nothing. So, I figured I’d do some digging and see what I could find out about taking him down.
First thing I did was jump online and start searching for “Snorlax counter.” I found a bunch of stuff about his best moves and who he’s good against, and who he struggles with. You know, the usual stuff, but it was helpful to have it all laid out in front of me.
From what I gathered, Lick and Hyper Beam seem to be the go-to moves for Snorlax. Makes sense, right? A fast attack like Lick to build up energy, and then BAM! Hyper Beam to deal some serious damage. I made a mental note of that, I would need it later.
Then I started looking into the best counters. And let me tell you, there are a few that are good.
- I tried going with my best fighting type Pokémon, and let me tell you, it actually worked well.
- The other one is that since Snorlax is a normal type, he’s weak against Fighting moves. So, I assembled a team with some strong Fighting-type Pokémon.
I started testing out different teams and strategies.

I jumped into some battles, and tried out what I had learned. Used my Fighting-type team and focused on hitting Snorlax with super-effective moves. And guess what? It worked! I was finally able to take down that Snorlax that had been giving me so much trouble.
It took some trial and error, but I finally figured out how to counter Snorlax. It’s all about knowing his weaknesses and using the right Pokémon and moves. So, if you’re having trouble with Snorlax, give these tips a try. You might be surprised at how well they work!
