Alright, so today I was messing around with Pokemon GO, as one does, and I got into this whole thing with the move Dragon Pulse. I’d heard a bit about it, but I wanted to really get the lowdown, you know? So I started my little experiment.
First, I grabbed a bunch of Pokemon that could learn Dragon Pulse. I made sure I had a good mix, some I already had and a few I had to evolve. It took a while to get them all set up, but it was pretty fun seeing which ones could actually use the move.

Once I had my team, I started testing them out in battles. I hit up some gyms and did a few raids to see how Dragon Pulse worked in action. Let me tell you, it’s a pretty cool move to watch. Your Pokemon basically opens its mouth and shoots out this crazy shockwave. It looks awesome!
From what I could tell, Dragon Pulse does some solid damage. It’s a Dragon-type charged move, so it hits other Dragon Pokemon pretty hard. But it didn’t seem to do much against Steel-type Pokemon. That’s something I definitely need to remember for future battles.
- It’s a Dragon-type move, so it’s super effective against other Dragon Pokemon.
- It dishes out 90 damage, which is not too shabby.
- It costs 50 energy to use, so you gotta make sure you have enough juice before you unleash it.
- It’s weak against Steel-type Pokemon, so don’t bother using it on them.
Here’s what I found out about Dragon Pulse:
After all that battling, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on Dragon Pulse. It’s a strong move, especially if you’re up against other Dragon Pokemon. Just watch out for those Steel types! I’m definitely going to keep using this move in my battles. It’s powerful and, honestly, it just looks really cool.
So yeah, that was my little adventure with Dragon Pulse in Pokemon GO. Hope you guys found this interesting. Catch you all later!
