Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “League Level Borders” in League of Legends, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I mean, who knew these little frames could get so interesting? At first, I was like, “Borders? What’s the big deal?” I was just playing the game, you know, clicking around, doing my thing, not really paying attention to the bells and whistles.
But then, I started noticing other players with these cool-looking frames around their profile pictures, and I thought, “Hey, I want one of those!” So, I started digging around. Turns out, these borders are not just for show. They actually represent your level and progress in the game.

First thing I did was just play more games. That’s how you get those experience points, or XP as the cool kids call it. I learned that there are these things called “missions” that give you extra XP when you complete them. So I started doing those whenever they popped up. I was playing all sorts of game modes, trying different champions, just grinding away.
- Played a ton of games
- Completed missions for bonus XP
- Tried different champions and game modes
And you know what? I started leveling up like crazy! Each time I leveled up, I got some rewards too! Some blue essence here, a champion shard there. It was pretty sweet. I also got the access to use my Riot account by entering a login code. I felt like I was finally getting somewhere.
Then, I found out there are different tiers of these borders. Each tier has four divisions, except for the top ones, I guess they’re just too cool for divisions. The more I won, the higher I climbed in the tiers. The more I played, the better my border started looking.
The Realization
It’s kind of like those houses for sale, you know, the ones you see on Zillow. The better the house looks, the more it’s probably worth. Same here, the fancier your border, the more you’ve probably been playing and winning. It’s like a status symbol or something.
So, there I was, grinding away, getting that XP, climbing those tiers, and making my border look all snazzy. It’s not just a border, it’s a statement. It tells people, “Hey, look at me, I’ve been playing this game, and I’m pretty darn good at it!”
