Okay, so, today I want to share my experience with creating an MW2 tier list. Let me tell you, it was quite a journey, but I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out.
It all started when I was playing Modern Warfare 2, like, all the time. I got super into it and started thinking about which guns and perks were the best. You know, the usual gamer stuff. I figured I couldn’t be the only one pondering these deep, philosophical questions, so I decided to make a tier list. A proper one, not those quick, thrown-together ones.

First, I needed a place to actually make the list. I spent a good chunk of time browsing around and stumbled upon a few tier list maker websites. Some were kinda clunky, but then I hit gold. This one site had, like, every MW2 weapon and perk already loaded in, with nice little pictures and everything. It was love at first sight.
Then came the hard part – actually ranking everything. Oh boy. I spent hours, I mean HOURS, playing the game, trying out different loadouts, and really getting a feel for each weapon. I even started taking notes, like a crazy person, about recoil patterns, damage ranges, reload speeds, all that jazz. My desk looked like a war zone of sticky notes.
- I tested out the TAQ-56 in close quarters, long range.
- I even tried out the snipers, even though I suck at sniping, just to get a complete picture.
- Then jumped into different game modes with different guns.
After all that hands-on “research,” I went back to the tier list maker. I started dragging and dropping, placing each weapon and perk into its rightful tier. It was tough, man. There were so many close calls. Like, should the M4 be in S-tier or A-tier? Is the FSS Hurricane really that good? These were the questions that kept me up at night, I swear.
The Final Result
But finally, after days of playing, note-taking, and agonizing over placements, it was done. My MW2 tier list was complete! I felt a weird sense of accomplishment, like I’d just climbed Mount Everest or something. I even shared it with my buddies online, and we had some pretty heated debates about it. Some agreed with my choices, some thought I was completely off my rocker. But hey, that’s the beauty of tier lists, right? They’re subjective and spark discussions.
So yeah, that’s the story of how I made my MW2 tier list. It was a wild ride, but totally worth it. Now, whenever I play, I have this solid framework in my head of what’s good and what’s not. Plus, it’s a fun conversation starter. Maybe I’ll even update it as the game evolves. Who knows!
