Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at this game lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’m talking about trying to get that Dragonflight Season 3 Keystone Master mount. Yeah, the Verdant Armoredon. It’s pretty sick, if I do say so myself.
So, first off, I had to get my characters up to max level. That wasn’t too bad, I already had a few from before. But then the real work started. I needed to get a Mythic+ rating of at least 2000. That meant diving headfirst into those Mythic+ dungeons.

I started running some lower-level keys, just to get a feel for things. I teamed up with some guildies and we started pushing keys higher and higher. It was a bit of a struggle at first. We wiped a few times, got lost in a couple of dungeons, you know, the usual stuff. But we kept at it. We learned the mechanics, figured out the best routes, and slowly but surely, our rating started to climb.
I spent hours watching videos and reading guides, trying to learn all the little tricks and tips. I experimented with different talents, optimized my gear, and even started tracking my progress in a spreadsheet. It was a full-on obsession. I was running dungeons every chance I got. Weekends, weeknights, even during my lunch breaks, I was in there, trying to push those keys.
- First, I got all my characters leveled up.
- Then, I started hitting those Mythic+ dungeons like crazy.
- Made sure to team up with the right people.
- Watched a ton of videos to get better.
- Kept grinding those keys, higher and higher.
There were definitely some frustrating moments. Some groups were just…not great. And some dungeons, man, they were tough. We had to deal with tyrannical and fortified weeks. Tyrannical makes the bosses super strong, and fortified makes the trash mobs a real pain. But you know what? I found a good group of people. We stuck together, learned from our mistakes, and kept pushing. We were in Discord every night, calling out mechanics, coordinating our cooldowns, and just generally having a good time. It really makes a difference when you find a solid team.
Finally, after weeks of grinding, I hit that magic number: 2000. I completed every dungeon at level 18 or higher on both tyrannical and fortified. Man, it felt good. I got the achievement, and more importantly, I got that sweet, sweet mount. It’s green, it’s armored, and it’s awesome. About 25% of players got it last season, so it’s not super common. Now I can finally show off a bit. It was a long and sometimes painful process, but totally worth it in the end. Now, I can finally take a bit of a breather and enjoy riding around on my new Verdant Armoredon.
What a ride it was!
I am so happy to finally have this amazing mount, it was worth the work!
It took me a lot to be able to get this done, I am so glad that I didn’t give up!
It is also true that a good team makes it even easier! I am so glad to have met such nice people on this journey.
