Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Dragonflight Season 3, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I set my sights on that Verdant Armoredon mount, the one you get for hitting Keystone Master.
Getting Started with Dragonriding
First things first, I started with the basics. You know, getting familiar with the whole dragonriding thing. It’s pretty cool once you get the hang of it. On my first play through the DF campaign, I unlocked one dragonriding mount in each zone and another in Zaralek Cavern. The subsequent characters have them all unlocked from the start.

Dungeon Runs and Mythic+
Then came the real work: dungeons. Lots and lots of dungeons. I teamed up with some friends, and we started tackling Mythic+. We started with lower keys, just to get a feel for the affixes and the new dungeons in Season 3.
- Week 1: We faced Fortified, Incorporeal, and Sanguine. It was tough, but we managed.
- Week 2: Tyrannical, Entangling, and Bursting. This one was a real pain, especially with certain bosses.
- Week 3: We got Fortified and Volcanic. A bit easier, but still had to watch our feet!
Pushing the Rating
We kept pushing, week after week. Some runs were smooth, others were… well, let’s just say we learned a lot from our wipes. I spent hours watching videos, reading guides, and tweaking my talents. My gear got better, my skills improved, and slowly but surely, my Mythic+ rating started to climb.
The Final Stretch
Getting from 1800 to 2000 was the hardest part. Every key felt like a huge challenge. We had some frustrating moments, some arguments, and a few close calls. But we stuck together, kept grinding, and finally, I hit that sweet 2000 rating.
Victory!
The feeling when I saw the achievement pop up was incredible. All those hours, all that effort, it all paid off. I finally got my Verdant Armoredon mount, and it looks even better than I imagined. Riding it around Valdrakken feels amazing, a real testament to the hard work we put in.
So yeah, that’s my story of getting the Keystone Master mount in Dragonflight Season 3. It was tough, it was frustrating, but it was also one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in the game. If you’re thinking about going for it, I say do it! Just be prepared for a grind, and remember to enjoy the journey.
