Okay, so, I’ve been playing Elder Scrolls Online for a while now, and one of the things I always look forward to is the Golden Vendor. Let me tell you about my recent experience with it.
So, this vendor, her full name is Adhazabi Aba-daro, but everyone just calls her the Golden Vendor. She only pops up on the weekends in Cyrodiil. It’s a bit of a pain to get to her sometimes because, you know, Cyrodiil is the PvP zone, and I’m not really into PvP. But, I still make the trek because she sells some pretty sweet stuff.
I logged in on Friday evening, ready to see what she had. I made my way to my alliance’s main gate in Cyrodiil. I checked the map, located the vendor’s spot. The journey is always an adventure in itself. I tried to sneak around, avoiding any enemy players. I’m not much of a fighter in this game, I mainly do quests and stuff.
Finally reached the Golden Vendor. I was excited to see what she had this week. She usually has a random selection of gold-quality jewelry. I was hoping for something from a particular dungeon set I’ve been working on.
I opened up her inventory and started browsing. There they were, two pieces of gold jewelry from the dungeon I wanted! It is really nice. I checked my gold and alliance points. I had enough! So, I bought both of them right then and there. I was so excited. Finally I can get those set.
After that, I ported out of Cyrodiil as fast as I could. Didn’t want to risk losing my new stuff to some ganker. I went back to my usual PvE zones and immediately equipped my new jewelry. They gave me the set bonus I was after, which is a pretty big deal for my character’s build. I was very happy.
This whole experience just made my weekend. It’s always a bit of a gamble with the Golden Vendor, but when it pays off, it feels amazing. Now, I am going to grind some dungeons with my guildies.
Tips for New Players about Golden Vendor:
- Remember, she’s only there from Friday evening until Monday morning.
- Save up your gold and Alliance Points. Her stuff is expensive, but worth it.
- If you are afraid of PvP, try to go during off-peak hours or with a group.
- Don’t get discouraged if she doesn’t have what you want. Her inventory changes every week!
