Okay, so, I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a while now, and recently I got really into this whole Stunky thing. Let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride.
First off, I really wanted to catch a Shiny Stunky. I mean, who wouldn’t? They’re pretty rare, and I heard they just came out during the 2024 GO Tour: Sinnoh event, along with other Shiny ones like Pachirisu and Chatot. So, I started my hunt, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. I spent hours, days even, walking around, trying to find one.

I kept running into regular Stunky. It’s not like it’s a bad Pokemon. It’s actually pretty good against Grass and Fairy types, which is useful, but it’s not a Shiny one. Then I had to figure out what Pokemon to use against Stunky. I learned that the best counters are like, Mega Garchomp, Shadow Excadrill, and Groudon. I had a few Groudon, so I powered those up as much as I could. I’m talking a CP up to 1,301.
I also learned that Stunky can be upgraded to a Skuntank, so I was keeping an eye out for any good ones to evolve. I kept checking the CP, hoping for a really strong one. Days turned into nights. I met up with other players, we traded tips, battled together, but that Shiny Stunky was still nowhere to be found.
But you know what? Even though it’s been a bit of a grind, it’s also been a lot of fun. I mean, sure, I haven’t caught a Shiny Stunky yet, but I’ve caught a bunch of other cool Pokemon, made some new friends, and got a good workout in. Plus, I have a really strong Skuntank, which is pretty awesome.
- Tip 1: Focus on using Ground-type Pokemon like Groudon or Excadrill to counter Stunky.
- Tip 2: Keep an eye out for Stunky with high CP, they’re the best ones to evolve.
- Tip 3: Don’t give up! Shiny Stunky is rare, but catching one is super rewarding.
So yeah, that’s my Stunky story so far. It’s not over yet, I’m still on the hunt. But I’m having a blast, and that’s what really matters, right?
