Okay, so I’ve been messing around with FIFA 23 lately, and I gotta talk about this guy Bruno Guimarães. He’s quickly become one of my go-to midfielders, and I figured I’d share my experience for anyone else who’s curious about him in the game.
First off, I started playing with the standard version of Bruno. His Rare card is rated 81 overall. Not too shabby, but I quickly realized he’s way better than that initial rating suggests. I checked his stats and he has a potential to reach 87, which is pretty awesome. He’s 24 years old, plays for Newcastle United in the Premier League, and is from Brazil. What really got me hooked was his work rate – High/High. This dude is all over the pitch, always involved in both attack and defense.
Gameplay
- I noticed right away that Bruno is a solid passer. He can ping those long balls, and his short passing is crisp. He feels like a real playmaker in the middle of the field. He is often the first line-breaking playmaker.
- Defensively, he’s a beast. He’s always winning tackles and intercepting passes. I don’t know how many times he’s bailed me out of a tough situation.
- He’s right-footed, with 3 skill moves and a 2-star weak foot. I tried to dribble with him, it’s not his strongest suit. Better to keep it simple, pass and move.
I played a bunch of games with him, and he just kept getting better and better. Then, the TOTS (Team of the Season) promo dropped. And guess what? They released a special TOTS version of Bruno Guimarães. This card is insane! It’s rated 93, and let me tell you, it feels like a completely different player. He’s faster, stronger, his passing is even better, and his defending is god-tier. He’s like a cheat code in midfield. I don’t know, man. This guy just fits my playstyle perfectly. He’s always in the right place at the right time, and he makes everyone around him better. It’s been a blast using him.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a solid midfielder in FIFA 23, I highly recommend giving Bruno Guimarães a try. Even his regular card is great, but if you can get your hands on his TOTS version, you’re in for a real treat. He’s a game-changer, and I can’t wait to see what else he can do in my team. I’ve been dominating with him, and it’s been a ton of fun.
