Okay, here is my sharing about the “raid healer tier list” :
Alright, let’s talk about this whole healer tier list thing in raids. I’ve been messing around with this for a while, and I’ve gotta say, it’s been a wild ride. Here’s how it all went down.

First off, I had to figure out which healers were even worth looking at. I mean, there are tons of them, right? So, I started by trying out a bunch of different ones. The Cleric, for instance, seemed pretty decent at first. Good heals and all, but man, that’s about all they brought to the table. Turns out, Mercenaries can do their job just as well in group content, which made me question why I’d even bother with a Cleric.
Then there were the Shaman and Druid. These guys were a bit trickier. The Shaman felt tougher, you know? Like they could take a hit and keep on going, and that splash healing! Oh, man, that’s super useful in raids, felt like the best group healer. The Druid? Not so much. I mean, they were okay, but nothing to write home about.
After that, I decided to give the Discipline Priest a shot. People online were saying they’re one of the best in the current meta, especially for those Mythic+ dungeons. And you know what? They weren’t wrong. These Priests had some serious healing power, and they seemed to fit into most groups without any issues. I was starting to see why they were so popular.
But then, there’s this thing called the Caster Monk. Some folks were saying it’s the best all-around healer in the game. I was like, “Yeah, right.” But I tried it out anyway, and holy cow, they weren’t kidding. This Monk was healing, dealing damage, doing all sorts of crazy stuff. I was blown away.
And speaking of Monks, I also tried the Mistweaver Monk. Let me tell you, this one is a healing machine. Just pure, raw healing power. It was insane how quickly they could top up the raid. I was really impressed.
My Experiment
So, after trying out all these healers, I had to put them to the test. I joined a bunch of raids in this new Nerub-ar Palace place in the Season 1 of The War Within. I used some data from Warcraft Logs to keep track of how each healer was doing. I looked at things like how much they were healing, how often they were dying, and all that jazz.
- Tried out a bunch of healers: Cleric, Shaman, Druid, Discipline Priest, Caster Monk, Mistweaver Monk.
- Joined raids in Nerub-ar Palace.
- Used Warcraft Logs to track healer performance.
- Updated my findings for Patch 11.0.5 and Patch 11.0.7.
- Considered performance in both Mythic+ dungeons and the raid.
Based on all that, I started making my own tier list. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. There were a lot of factors to consider. But after a lot of trial and error, and a lot of wipes, I finally came up with something I was happy with.
Conclusion
And that’s pretty much it. It was a lot of work, but I think I finally figured out this whole healer tier list thing. Of course, things might change in the future, new patches, new strategies, you know how it goes. But for now, I think my list is pretty solid. Hope this helps some of you out there. Keep on healing, folks!
