Alright, so today I wanna talk about my little adventure trying to power up my Granbull in Pokemon Go. It’s been quite the journey, I tell ya.
I’ve always liked Granbull, you know? It’s not your typical cute fairy type. This one’s got some teeth, literally. So, I started out with this Snubbull I caught a while back. Nothing special, just a regular Snubbull, but I had this idea to turn it into a beastly Granbull.

First thing I did was, of course, evolve it. Took me a while to get all those candies, walking my buddy and all that. Finally, I got enough and boom, I had my Granbull. It felt good, but I wasn’t done. I wanted this Granbull to be strong, really strong.
- Grinding for Candies: I spent weeks just catching every Snubbull I saw. Raids, trades, you name it. I was on a mission.
- Choosing the Right Moves: This was tricky. I learned that Charm is the way to go for the fast move, so I stuck with that. For the charged move, Play Rough seemed like the best bet, dealing a ton of damage.
- Powering Up: Oh boy, the Stardust. It took so much Stardust to power up my Granbull. I was constantly running low, doing battles, catching more Pokemon, just to get enough dust.
I started using my Granbull in battles, and man, it was fun. It was pretty good against those dragon types, and even some fighting types. I remember this one time, I took down a Giratina with my Granbull. It felt awesome!
But, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I realized Granbull isn’t exactly top-tier. There are other Fairy types that are just bulkier and can take more hits. Plus, those Poison and Steel types? Forget about it. My Granbull would just melt.
Still, I kept at it. I used it in Gym battles, and sometimes in raids when the conditions were right. I even tried it out in the Battle League, but, yeah, it didn’t go so well in the higher leagues. It’s just not cut out for the Master League, that’s for sure. The stats aren’t that good.
I also learned about this Intimidate ability that Granbull has. Sounds cool, right? It’s supposed to lower the opponent’s attack. I tried to use it strategically, but honestly, it didn’t make a huge difference in most battles and I get more Stardust. I should keep it in my mind.
So, after all this, what’s the verdict? Well, my Granbull is definitely stronger than when I started. It’s not the strongest Pokemon out there, but it holds its own in certain situations. And you know what? I’m proud of it. We’ve been through a lot together, me and my big, fanged fairy dog.
It’s not always about having the most powerful Pokemon, right? Sometimes, it’s about the journey, the battles you fight, and the memories you make. And with my Granbull, I’ve definitely made some good memories. Would I recommend it to other trainers? Maybe, maybe not. But for me, it was an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything. We win five of five matches. And we will get more Stardust.
That’s my Granbull story, folks. Hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, keep catching them all!
