Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the Nexus Blitz mode in League of Legends lately, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. I wanted to put together a tier list based on my experiences, and it took a while, but I think I’ve got something solid.
First off, I started by just playing a ton of games. I mean, a LOT. I tried out different champions, different item builds, just to see what worked and what didn’t. It was a bit of a mess at first, I won’t lie. There were games where I felt like a god, and others where I was getting stomped into the ground.

After each game, I started jotting down notes. Which champions felt strong? Which ones felt weak? What items were making a big difference? I started noticing patterns. For instance, champions with high mobility and burst damage seemed to really shine in this mode. And some items, like The Golden Spatula, just felt crazy strong. Oh, boy, The Golden Spatula! When I got that item, all enemy just running away from me!
My Tier List
So, based on all that, I started putting together my tier list. I divided the champions into different tiers, from S-tier (the best) to D-tier (the worst). It was tough, especially in the middle tiers, because a lot of champions felt pretty balanced. But I had to make some tough calls.
- S-Tier: These are the champions that I found to be consistently strong. Champions like Katarina, Rengar, and Jax, they just dominated. High mobility, high damage, they could carry games.
- A-Tier: These champions are still really good, but maybe not quite as consistently powerful as the S-tier. I’m thinking of champions like Ahri, Lee Sin, and Fizz. Still solid picks.
- B-Tier: This is where it gets tricky. These champions are decent, but they might struggle in certain matchups or team comps. Champions like Anivia, Miss Fortune, they’re in this tier.
- C-Tier: These champions start to feel a bit weaker. They can still work, but it’s an uphill battle. Champions like Garen and Teemo, I put them here.
- D-Tier: Honestly, I’d avoid these champions in Nexus Blitz. They just feel outclassed. Champions like Amumu and Rammus, they just didn’t do well in my games.
I also started thinking about itemization. Some items just felt way better than others in this mode. I made a list of what I found to be the best ones: The Golden Spatula, The Collector, Guardian Angel, Rabadon’s Deathcap, Duskblade of Draktharr, Sunfire Aegis, Trinity Force, Goredrinker, Luden’s Tempest, and Kraken Slayer. These items consistently performed well across multiple games and champions. I also considered the last time Nexus Blitz was released, which was during Patch 11.11 in 2021, and tried to factor in how the game has changed since then.
Putting this tier list together was a journey. It took time, effort, and a lot of games. I’m sure not everyone will agree with my rankings, and that’s okay. This is just my personal take based on my own experiences. And the meta is always changing, right? What works today might not work tomorrow.
But hey, that’s part of the fun of League of Legends. Experimenting, trying new things, and figuring out what works best for you. So get out there, try some Nexus Blitz, and see what you think. Maybe you’ll discover some hidden gems that I missed. And if you do, let me know! I’m always up for a good discussion about the game.
