Alright, so I’ve been on this mission to collect all the Vivillon patterns in Pokemon Go, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the journey. I started out like everyone else, catching the Scatterbugs in my local area, evolving them, and getting the same old pattern I always see around here. But that wasn’t enough for me. I wanted them all.
So, I started digging around, trying to figure out how to get these elusive other patterns. That’s when I realized it was all about postcards and where your friends are located in the world. I felt like I was back in school, trying to make pen pals but way cooler because, you know, Pokemon.
My first move was to find out which regions had the patterns I was missing. The one I really wanted was Ocean. I imagined a sunny, beachy Scatterbug just waiting to be caught.
- I started searching online for folks specifically from the Ocean region. It felt a bit weird at first, asking strangers to be my digital pen pal, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures, right?
- I found a few forums and online communities where people were posting their friend codes, saying they were from the Ocean region. So, I added them as friends in the game, fingers crossed.
- Then came the waiting game. I sent them gifts, hoping they’d send postcards back. It was like sending a message in a bottle, hoping it reaches the right shore.
- Finally, I got some postcards from the Ocean region. Pinning them was like adding a new stamp to my collection. And guess what? After a few postcards, I finally encountered a Scatterbug that evolved into the Ocean Vivillon. Success!
It took some time and a lot of patience, but it was totally worth it. It is really not easy as I thought before. And honestly, it was pretty fun connecting with trainers from all over. Now, I’m helping others find their missing patterns too. Feels good to give back to the community, you know?
I still need to collect Icy Snow, Tundra, and a few others. This is not the end for sure. The journey continues, and I’m here for it. Who knew collecting virtual butterflies could be so exciting?
So, yeah, that’s my story of hunting down the Ocean Vivillon. If you’re on a similar quest, my advice is to be patient, be persistent, and don’t be afraid to reach out to other trainers. Happy hunting!
